I'm a growing artist, among other things.  I've been teaching children in grades K-6 for over 20 years in the public school system.  I taught various grades and worked as a Visual Arts specialist at Virginia Park School for 14 years.  Working my entire career in arts based schools has helped me develop a deeper passion for the arts, specifically how they transform people and transcend time.

I am currently working with the Edmonton Public School Division as a Visual Arts Consultant.  I create supports and professional development for K-6 teachers in the area of Visual Arts.  

I'm married, my twin boys are in grade 11 and we own a black purring machine named Crackie.  Bernese Mountain dogs have always been a part of our family life.  We should have a new member of the family again soon as we just said farewell to our last dog, Fergus.  He was a special guy and was known to keep the studio floor warm from time to time.  🖤 

For me, this past year at the studio has allowed me to meet some amazing little artists, get to know some great families and continue to bring my passion for the arts to others.
